Learning the Game of Billiards

Most people who have a serious interest in billiards have played a game of pool or two at some point in their lives.

The game of pocket billiards is played on a six pocket billiard table, using 15 object balls and a cue ball. You use 21 object balls and one cue ball if you are playing the game of snooker. To play carom billiards you have no pockets in the table and only 3 balls.

In the game of carom billiards, for example the aim of the player is to keep three balls in the game. The opposite is true with billiards, as the player is trying to get all 15 balls in the pockets as quickly as possible.
